Biography
Elisabeth was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California in Santa Cruz, in the area of Language and Linguistics. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 1998 from Santa Clara University. Elisabeth has been representing Family Law clients since her second year of law school. While attending law school, she excelled in moot court and was a certified law student which allowed her to appear in court and represent clients while obtaining her degree.
Upon graduation, Elisabeth joined a conflict Public Defender's office in Santa Cruz County where she represented parents involved with Child Protective Services as well as criminal defendants. In 2001, Elisabeth opened her own practice where she continued to practice Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law and Family Law in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterrey Counties.
Elisabeth moved with her family to Riverside County in 2005. She continually expanded her Family Law practice while continuing to represent clients in the areas of Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law, Adoption and Guardianship. In 2013, Elisabeth joined a large family law firm in Riverside County. Elisabeth, already known for her skills in advocacy and client representation, served as a Senior Litigation attorney managing an extensive case load involving all aspects of Family Law. In 2014, Elisabeth obtained designation by the California State Bar as a Certified Family Law Specialist.
Elisabeth has extensive trial experience in all aspects of Family Law including custody and visitation, support, division of property, restraining orders and the establishment of paternity as well as in Guardianships and Juvenile Dependency. She is known throughout the legal community and amongst her clients for her knowledge of the law and skills as a litigator. Elisabeth was recognized for her achievements by Super Lawyers in 2018 as a distinguished and accomplished advocate.
In 2020, Elisabeth was elected by her peers to serve on the Board of Directors of the Riverside County Bar Association as a Director at Large. Throughout her career, Elisabeth has always been extensively involved in the legal community. In addition to serving on the Riverside County Bar Association Board of Directors, Elisabeth helped establish and served on the Inland Empire Legislative Committee advising on pending Family Law legislation. Elisabeth has been a member of the Leo Deegan Inn of Court since 2016 and is currently serves as an Attorney Master. Elisabeth is a member of several Bar Associations and is a past president of the San Jacinto/Hemet Bar Association.
